The Directorate of Student Welfare and Cultural Affairs (DSWCA) at Sri Venkateswara University stands as a beacon of holistic student development, nurturing not just academic excellence but also cultural richness and social consciousness among our vibrant student community.
Our mission is to create an inclusive environment where students can explore their cultural heritage, develop leadership skills, and contribute meaningfully to society. From organizing grand festivals like YUVATARANG to coordinating various student welfare initiatives, DSWCA serves as the central hub for all cultural and welfare activities on campus. We believe that education extends beyond classrooms, and our programs are designed to complement academic learning with experiential growth opportunities.
This year, we introduced a unique code system to maintain complete transparency for all participants, ensuring a fair and organized experience throughout the festival. YUVATARANG was held over three spectacular days, each bringing its own energy and excitement!
The festivities commenced with the prestigious inauguration of the Art Expo by distinguished dignitaries:
A vibrant flag-off rally covered 5-6 km throughout the campus, spreading enthusiasm and spirit among all participants.
At the auditorium, cultural events were officially inaugurated by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. T. Narasinga Rao along with all dignitaries.
The day concluded with a mesmerizing performance by BAND AIRA, leaving everyone spellbound.
